Elias Figueroa, Chairman of the GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION and Players For Peace Campaign and initiatives with FIFPro, that supports the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace is interviewed by Andres Cantor of Telemundo.

'Don' Elias
was recently named by FIFA (The World Governing Body of Football –Soccer) as one of the
Best 100 Players of the Century. He is the only three (3) times South American Player of The Year (1974, 1975 and 1976) and was the FIFA World Player of The Year in 1976. He represented his Country, Chile, as the Captain of his National Team in four (4) FIFA World Cup Championships and is one of the great historical figures of global football. Elias Figueroa acts as an Ambassador to the United Nations Sport for Development and Peace LAC through his Foundation's Players For Peace initiatives. He has spoken to the General Assembly of the United Nations and last year, presented Brasilian International and two (2) times FIFPro World Player of The Year, Ronaldinho, at UN Headquarters in NYC, for appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador, to work with him in this program.
